50 Million Euro for Police TETRA System in Poland

At the end of last year, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration Mariusz Blaszczak presented a plan and a goal to to increase the effectiveness of the operation of the Police, Fire Brigade, Border Guard and the Government Protection Bureau (BOR). The expenses includes vehicles, armaments, IT and communications equipment and personal equipment.

More details of the project can be found in the Public Procurement Plan for 2017, published by the Finance Bureau of the Central Police Headquarters. As part of the complete investment, item 156 contained a project entitled "Modernization of police radio networks in 13 cities and urban agglomerations according to the ETSI TETRA standard."
