Motorola Solutions to win a new MOTOTRBO™ contract in China

Motorola Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: MSI) announced that it has won the contract to supply MOTOTRBO™ digital communication solution to the Fire Prevention Office of the Forestry Department in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

The Forestry sector tasked with the responsibility of managing and maintaining the forest ecological environment and national wealth faces operational challenges which include - difficult operating terrain, harsh and often hazardous environments, with possibility of forest fires, and vast areas to protect where public communication networks are most often not available.
