Users have unlimited talk time for $19.95 per month and unlimited data for $4.95 per month.
“You can talk to whole teams or just one person anywhere in the region with the push of a button and also have smart features like GPS tracking, dispatching or asset management,” said Scott Crosby, Systems Manager.
TRBOWEST (“turbo-west”) is the largest, privately operated, seamless digital radio network in the Pacific Northwest. The system provides legally allowed hands-free wireless service for commercial vehicles and complies with DOT Rule Part 392.82 allowing talk while driving. Cellular phones do not comply with hands-free laws.
Additional expansion is under construction for service starting summer 2013 in the Columbia Gorge, Bend and Newport Oregon markets.

Independent wireless dealers in the region sell TRBOWEST service with Motorola mobile and portable radios to farms, freight companies, bus systems, refuse haulers, porta-potty providers, security firms, construction companies and others needing mobile wireless that is legally allowed communication.
More than 100 third party applications are available including GPS, dispatch and asset management.
TRBOWEST complies with DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation Part 392.82 allowing use of mobile radio devices in a commercial vehicle while in operation. The law was enacted January 3, 2012. Cellular phones do not comply; texting and use of a hand-held cellular phone is prohibited in a commercial vehicle in operation.
