Elcomplus Fits out Otkritie Arena
Otkritie Arena – a new stadium built for FC Spartak Moscow this summer is equipped with a cutting-edge radio dispatch system based on SmartPTT software by Elcomplus.
The remarkable fact is that the Otkritie Arena is listed among the stadiums hosting the 2018 World Cup and it is also one more World Cup stadium fitted with SmartPTT – three football stadiums of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil were equipped with radio dispatch systems based on MOTOTRBO equipment and SmartPTT software.arena_450
The radio system based on MOTOTRBO equipment and SmartPTT software ensures the coordination process and operation of the services throughout the stadium, which includes the security services as well. The system was installed by SAGA Company, Elcomplus’ partner in Moscow. The whole installation process was initiated in January 2014 and later in March the system was launched. However, given that the Grand Opening of the Arena followed by the first games were held in late summer, the radio system was put into a full-scale operation not until six months after the first launch.
The radio system of the Otkritie Arena is based on SmartPTT empowering dispatchers not only to communicate through radios but also to manage and control each department of the stadium. The Dispatch Console is used as a tool to control and coordinate the subscribers through GPS tracking, status and route displaying. The Dispatch Console is an integral workstation making the subscriber’s work more automated and ensuring better operating efficiency of all services.
The system is integrated into the stadium’s telephone network and guarantees communication between subscribers of radios and fixed phones providing them with far more ways for connection using different networks. In addition, the radio system also provides voice call recording. In the result, the system combines a number of features effectively cutting down the infrastructure expenses and relieving from the necessity of installing several systems to provide the same features.
