Hytera DMR Trunking Solution Adopted during The Summit of The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation

Mr. Chen Qingzhou, president of Hytera Communications was invited to attend the Summit Of FOCAC opening ceremony & the China-Africa Business Conference.

The Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) was held on December 4th and 5th in Johannesburg, South Africa. As the top summit for the third world, it’s drew the great attention from all over the world.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Jacob Zuma co-chaired the summit, with the attendance of the heads of government and business representatives of 44 African countries. Mr. Chen Qingzhou, president of Hytera Communications was invited to attend the Summit Of FOCAC opening ceremony & the China-Africa Business Conference.

Since the founding of FOCAC 15 years ago, China-Africa cooperation has yielded a lot fruitful results. FOCAC has become a resounding brand for China-Africa solidarity and cooperation, and a model for leading international cooperation. For the summit held in Johannesburg this year, the South Africa's biggest city and capital of its inland Gauteng province, has staged a series of high-level security measures.

In August 2015 Altech Radio Holdings, Hytera’s local partner in South Africa,  established a DMR trunking network which provides full coverage in the province of Gauteng. In South Africa, Hytera & Altech also provided the Hytera digital two-way radio communication system to Chinese Embassy in South Africa and the Department of African Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Regarding the DMR Networlk in Gauteng, Altech Radio Holdings has completed the project phase 1 covering the whole Gauteng province by 50 Hytera DMR trunking base stations. The next step is that , Altech will establish a digital two-way communication network covering Durban & Cape Town.
