Crime Tech Solutions becomes distributor for Link Analysis software.

Under the terms of the agreement, Crime Tech Solutions will market, deploy, and support the powerful software offering to commercial, government, and law enforcement customers in the United States and Canada.

Social Network Analysis and Link Analytics software helps crime analysts and investigators understand hidden connections between people, places, and things within the course of an investigation. The software is also used by organizations to perform temporal and geospatial crime mapping.

According to Crime Tech Solutions, the software product provides users with insight into patterns and trends hidden in their data. The database driven data visualization platform lets individuals quickly see multi-level links among entities and model different relationship types. Advanced drawing and redrawing features generate optimized views to highlight the most important entities.

The distribution agreement was driven by a growing requirement for cost-effective, commercial off-the-shelf link analysis and investigation software built and supported in North America. A CTS spokesperson says that the market now for desktop analytics is dominated by the IBM i2 Analysts Notebook© product. As the only true alternative, however, customers are turning to the CTS for better pricing and customer support.

“Our competitor keeps raising prices and lowering support. We think the market has had enough of this shoddy treatment, and we are excited to be winning more and more business”, the company said.
