JVCKENWOOD to provide radio communication at the Grand Theater in Łódź, Poland

Elektrit Sp. z o . o., Polish radio distributor of the JVCKENWOOD brand, recently announced that it will deliver wireless communication equipment for the Grand Theater in Łódź. The contract includes delivery of digital hand-held radios working in the UHF band from the NX-3000 and NX-5000 series. In addition, fixed base stations, portable base stations and user terminals (WD-K10 series in the DECT standard) should be operated around the theater scene, ensuring full duplex communication. The DECT system from Kenwood also provides integration with a radio system operating in the UHF band in both analogue and digital mode.

Teatr Wielki in Łódź - the largest theater in Łódź, specializing in opera and ballet, as well as operettas and musicals. The building of the Grand Theater located at Dąbrowskiego Square is the second largest opera house in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. Initially, the theater's audience numbered 1270 places; after renovations carried out in 2003, there are 1074 places. The volume of the main and technical building of the Grand Theater amounts to 195,000 m³ in total. The orchestra orchestra has about 70 musicians.
