BearCom expands Texas operations by acquiring two-way radio specialists
BearCom Group, Inc. the largest provider of wireless communications equipment and solutions for voice, video and data technologies in the US, announced that S&P Communications, Inc., with locations in San Antonio and Round Rock, Texas; and A&B Communications, Inc., located in Corpus Christi, Texas, have joined the BearCom family. Both companies are Motorola Solutions Channel Partners and Kenwood Authorized dealers.
In addition to selling, servicing and renting two-way radios, S&P and A&B offer digital airtime coverage using the NEXEDGE IP network from Kenwood. NEXEDGEcreates wide area networks by registering mobile and portable two-way radios to the nearest radio tower to communicate seamlessly between towers throughout a region.
