Utility Broadband Alliance (UBBA) Joins 450Mhz Alliance

In a move to accelerate the advancement of mission-critical broadband solutions, the Utility Broadband Alliance (UBBA) and the 450 MHz Alliance (450A) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signaling a major step toward global collaboration in utility network innovation and resilience.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to enhancing the deployment of reliable, secure, and resilient wireless networks tailored to the unique needs of utilities. By combining UBBA’s expertise in Utility private LTE broadband technologies with 450A’s leadership in leveraging the 450 MHz spectrum, the collaboration will focus on developing innovative solutions to support mission-critical communications, grid modernization, and the transition to smarter, more sustainable energy systems.
“The strategic relationship marks a significant step toward strengthening global cooperation in utility wireless communication,” said Bobbi Harris, Executive Director UBBA. “Together with the 450 MHz Alliance, we aim to address the growing demands for connectivity, expand the device ecosystem, and ensure utilities have the tools they need to operate efficiently and securely.”
