CCW 2025 Destination Unveiled: Brussels
Belgium at the Forefront: The Significance of Hosting CCW 2025
During the final day of this year's CCW2024 event in Dubai, the announcement was made. The ceremony included the transfer of a scroll from Nedaa's CEO, His Excellency Mr Mansoor bu Osaiba, to Astrid's deputy director-general and director of external relations, Daniel Hache. Prior to the handover, TCCA's board chair, Mladen Vratonjić, spoke and stated,
"As we bring this CCW to an end, I am pleased and delighted that we were able to be a part of yet another fantastic event."
Reflecting on his participation in this year's event and looking forward to next year's CCW, Daniel Hache (pictured) expressed his gratitude towards Nedaa for their warm welcome and excellent management.
In his statement, he mentioned the unique offerings that Belgium has for visitors, particularly Astrid. Astrid is recognized as one of the trailblazers in TETRA radio communication, having launched in 1998 alongside other European nations.
"Therefore, we have a wealth of knowledge to share with you regarding our 25 years of experience. However, it is not only limited to the past. We also have a lot to say about our plans for the future as we are currently in the process of preparing for our next generation project, which will involve broadband technology."
Hache mentioned that the new network would not be functioning by 2025. He expressed confidence that they will have plenty of details to share about their approach and preparations.
The upcoming event, Critical Communications World 2025, is scheduled to be held at the Brussels Expo in Belgium on the 17th to 19th of June.
