Airwave to demonstrate the benefits of Insite at British APCO 2012
Insite, which was recently shortlisted in the category for Best Use of TETRA for Public Safety at the inaugural International TETRA Awards 2012, can be accessed through a secure web-based service management terminal (SMT)
Airwave will be demonstrating Insite - a powerful web-based management and reporting tool - which has already been implemented by many customers, helping them to use the Airwave Network even more effectively and efficiently.
Insite, which was recently shortlisted in the category for Best Use of TETRA for Public Safety at the inaugural International TETRA Awards 2012, can be accessed through a secure web-based service management terminal (SMT). It gives the user instant information on Network usage, identifies peak usage times and highlights training requirements that individual users may have.
According to John Lewis, Director, International Services for Airwave, “The product was developed to enable our customers to get more value from their Airwave Service. Insite empowers users to improve their operational performance, analysing call data to generate meaningful reports that demonstrate how efficiently they are using the Network in real time.”
Insite subscribers have access to live traffic and incident reports, including map views to set the information in geographical context. The result is greater insight into the activity on the Airwave Network, which is particularly useful during major incidents, enabling senior personnel to identify peak usage times.
Information can then be gathered and analysed as an incident unfolds, helping to manage it more effectively. The functionality also provides the ability to predict and plan for future needs and to better control costs.
Delegates attending British APCO 2012, which is taking place from 16-17 April 2012 at Manchester Central (previously Manchester GMEX), will be able to discuss the direct benefits of Insite with the Airwave team.
