Kelvin Connect to showcase Pronto at British APCO 2012
In late 2011 Kelvin Connect secured the contract for an additional 500 users from Surrey Police to use Pronto, which brings to total to 850 devices.
Kelvin Connect, an Airwave Group company, will be present at British APCO 2012 to showcase their mobile data capture and management systems.
Pronto - the world’s first fully-functional electronic police notebook and information management solution - will be demonstrated to delegates and visitors at the exhibition.
According to Nigel Rees, managing director of Kelvin Connect: “Pronto is a comprehensive, flexible, mobile information solution that streamlines and transforms core police business processes, putting the front line first.”
Documented case studies have proven the business case for Pronto, with Lothian & Borders who have been using the product for over four years and have reported combined cashable savings of over £600k p.a.
In late 2011 Kelvin Connect secured the contract for an additional 500 users from Surrey Police to use Pronto, which brings to total to 850 devices.
“The roll out of Pronto across Surrey will build on the initial deployment and support the goal of delivering benefits to the force both in terms of enhancing support to front line officers, as well as realising significant cashable and non-cashable savings in the back and middle office through the streamlining of processes,” says Nigel.
Pronto is also being used as part of the NPIA’s Electronic Witness & Signature Pilot Project in partnership with the Crown Prosecution Service and the first case was won in late 2011 by the Crown Prosecutor at Redhill Magistrates Court in Surrey.
Delegates attending British APCO 2012, which is taking place from 16-17 April 2012 at Manchester Central (previously Manchester GMEX), will be able to discuss the direct benefits of Pronto with the Kelvin Connect team.
