Sepura announces appointment of new CFO, Steve Chamberlain

In a move designed to complement and enhance the skills mix of its senior management team, Sepura has appointed Steve Chamberlain as Chief Financial Officer, as of March 2012. Steve is a chartered accountant and has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacture and management from the University of Birmingham. He has over 15 years’ experience in the technology sector, including time in practice at BDO Stoy Hayward, Arthur Andersen and Deloitte.??He joins Sepura from Autonomy, where he spent the last 7 years as Vice President, Finance, with worldwide responsibility for finance. Autonomy is the market leader in the provision of software that automates the analysis of unstructured data, whether text, audio, images or video. During his time with Autonomy, Steve played a pivotal role in the successful integration of key acquisitions with a combined value of $2 billion. He also has a track record of driving significant operational improvements within the business, which was sold to HP for $11 billion, in 2011.
?Steve says: “I am delighted to be joining Sepura at a time when the company expands its operations in response to the increasing adoption of TETRA technologies. The Board has a very clear strategy focussed on sectors where secure and reliable communications have to be based on the best solutions available.
