The City of Sant Boi de Llobregat through Caixa Renting has hired Bilbomática, SA migration of radio communications analogue to digital within the integration agreement RESCAT Communications Network of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The contract for the supply of equipment and accessories is to implement a TETRA trunking communication system for the Local Police in Sant Boi de Llobregat, inclusive maintenance.

The project will enable the City of Sant Boi de Llobregat implement an interoperable network, based on various groups of the Municipal Police, which may make private calls, group calls and emergency calls with priority access to available resources.

Given the confidentiality of the talks, the digital TETRA network prevents easy access to the talks via radio, allowing the deactivation of lost or stolen terminals.

The fact that TETRA technology is standard, will allow the City of Sant Boi de Llobregat have different options from manufacturers that have this technology and they really are interoperable with each other and in turn, are approved by the Network of the Generalitat RESCAT de Catalunya.
