C2000 TETRA network will not be interfered by the installation of new mobile phone masts during TT Assen
Emergency services during the event will be able to communicate as usual.
This year, there will be new mobile phone masts added during the TT in Assen. This is the response of Sicko Heldoorn, Mayor of Assen in response to questions from the political party D66.
That party had asked for clarification because this year there would be no mobile phone masts added in the region. According Heldoorn, the installation of mobile phone masts will not effect the service of the Dutch Public Safety organisations, because the new to build masts for the Dutch C2000 TETRA network work on separate systems and thus will not bother each other, said Heldoorn.
