Alexander Serrano, Engineering Director of Hytera America: “Our participation in this event represents our commitment to the TETRA standard for our customers and partners worldwide”.

Hytera continues its expansion strategy by showcasing the brand and the solutions it has to offer by participating in the most relevant events in the market, this time in Brazil. From July 17th through July 26th 2012, Hytera toured Brazil and shared with different audiences the latest systems, products and advancements in the professional radio communications world.

Hytera at the TETRA MOU Events in Recife and Porto Alegre

The two first stops were at the TETRA MOU events organized by the TCCA in Recife and Porto Alegre where more than 200 participants had the chance to see the presentation of the most important members of the TETRA world. Alexander Serrano, Engineering Director of Hytera America, one of the expositors at the events, focused his presentation on the fact that TETRA is today the most widely accepted two-way radio communications standard in the world and he also highlighted that Hytera, with the acquisition of Rohde & Schwarz PMR (now Hytera Mobilfunk), became a global supplier of TETRA Solutions for over 120+ customers across all continents. “Our participation in this event represents our commitment to the TETRA standard for our customers and partners worldwide”.

First Time at Interseg, the Largest Public Security Event in Latin America

Hytera’s commitment with these international standards was also represented by the full display of a complete TETRA Demo System at Interseg, the largest public security event in Brazil and Latin America. “This is our first time at Interseg, so this is the platform to further our extension to public safety opportunities. We are working on extending our relationships and offerings to Public Safety in Brazil and Latin America, we have very good Cases of Success across the world and we want to offer our solutions in this market as well” says Tom Ferrari, Vice-president of Marketing and Sales for Latin America. Interseg was held at the Transamerica Expo Center in Sao Paulo from July 22nd to July 24th and Hytera was present as a complete solution provider with its TETRA and DMR communications solutions for public security, government and business users with a team that is there to back up the strategy to grow in the market.

Hytera Solution Displayed at Interseg

Among the solutions presented at the event were DMR Conventional and Trunking (DMR Tier III), it also included intrinsically safe communications solutions, the X1e covert radio, the world smallest full power DMR radio working with a soon to be released portable repeater. Since the introduction of Hytera DMR products, Hytera has been committed to the development of DMR data applications and for this reason HyTracks dispatch solution took an important part at our booth. “This is an important event for Hytera and that is why we counted with the presence of our local partners and distributors who have built a strong channel to represent the brand across the country” mentioned Ferrari.

Channel Workshops

To complement these events, Hytera invited partners across the country to participate at two workshops: a DMR workshop and a TETRA workshop. These sessions were led by Hytera’s international and local team, and more than 100 dealers, system integrators and end users attended. These sessions counted with the important participation of the Secretary of Security from Cachoeirinha- RS, Mr Airton de Souza Espindola. He addressed the audience to give his testimony as a Hytera Digital Solution user and the audience was fascinated by the way Hytera DMR has solved the needs of this important Brazilian Community.

Investment in Brazil

“Brazil is a very important market for Hytera, we are delighted to participate in these events and we are happy to organize activities for our channel partners and customers where they can test and feel our products as well as meet our local and international team”, mentioned Andy Zhao, President of Hytera America. He concluded his visit saying that Hytera is willing to continue investing in Brazil and the local partners and clients will be having more and more support.
