Savox Covert Two Way Radio Accessories gain FCC approval to satisfy increasing demand in the North American market.

Savox Communications supports its strategy of providing professional radio accessory solutions to customers in North America with both the Savox Clarity and Covert Base Unit products now receiving FCC approval. Savox Communications products improve the effectiveness of individuals operating in demanding environments and the new approvals ensure a premium end user experience.

The Savox Clarity and Covert Base Unit are two way radio accessories which provide totally discreet personal communications for covert surveillance, counter terror, homeland security, VIP and diplomatic protection services.

Both solutions consist of wireless incoming audio interfaces which can be concealed under clothing and include a built in microphone and a wireless PTT - which is uniquely disguised as a car key fob. The key fob PTT also provides tones functionality as standard, for situations where speech is impossible. Once connected to the users radio, the solution is completed with miniature wireless earpieces for the ultimate in discreet communications.

The Savox Clarity system is a premium solution  utilising interference free technology  which means it can be used near sources of electromagnetic interference including power lines, lighting systems and car ignition systems.

The Savox Covert Base Unit (CBU) is based on traditional inductive technology and provides great flexibility with the inclusion of  a Lemo plug for the attachment of a variety of styles of inductors including neck loop and flat-pack  forms.

Mikael Westerlund, Chief Strategy Officer at Savox Communications adds, “We are seeing more demand for our specialised covert products and this is no different in North America. We are driven by meeting the needs of our end users and we are delighted to have received FCC approval. This will provide the ideal platform for us to present these solutions to an audience interested in covert and surveillance operations in North America.”
