CCExpo and GPEC under one roof resulting in further internationalization. In 2012 GPEC alone, was visited by 6,514 security experts from 59 countries and 496 exhibitors from 29 countries.

Having very successfully organized the 13th event for mission critical information and communication, professional mobile radio (PMR) and control rooms bearing a new concept and name as independent branch platform CCExpo Critical Communications Expo® at the end of October  EMW  (Exhibition & Marketing Wehrstedt GmbH) will continue with this annual event from 9th to 11th September 2014 embedded in GPEC® in even years and independently in uneven years.

Organizing CCExpo® as special section of GPEC General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference®, Europe's biggest closed specialized trade fair and conference for police, special forces and public safety equipment, EMW on the one hand ensures the continuing intensive exchange of information and on the other hand the company makes an important contribution in the economic use of resources among exhibitors as well as visitors. Information and communication technology has already been one of the biggest parts of the specialized trade fair since the first GPEC® in 2000.

Moreover, EMW's Control Room Congress that is organized since 2004 has grown to be the "instance" for control room related topics in the German speaking region. In this tradition and with the proven team including the long-time moderator Gerhard Schulz, head of the Germany-wide working group Control Rooms,  this anchorage of BOS (public safety organizations) has also been included in the new concept of CCExpo® and finds its direct continuation with the Control Room Congress for the 11th year in succession. EMW will also continue the accompanying information events Communications Congress and the Forum in the exhibition hall and will continue to address all knowledge carriers of information and communication technology in all fields of critical infrastructures.

On the whole, this summary of resources in Germany will also contribute to a further internationalization, as the last GPEC® in 2012 could bring together 6,514 security experts from 59 countries and 496 exhibitors (335 German and 161 international) from 29 countries.

Both CCExpo® and GPEC® will happen from the 9th to 11th September 2014 in Leipzig. In January 2014 EMW will publish the registration and admission modalities for specialized visitors of this closed event on their website.

The registration documents for exhibitors are already available for download and the early bird discount will end on 31st January 2014.
