Gudbrandsdal Police have adopted Nødnett

At 12:00 pm on the 11th December 2013 took Gudbrandsdal Police use Nødnett as the last police district in Phase 1.

At 12:00 pm on the 11th December 2013 Gudbrandsdal Police started to use Nødnett TETRA network as the last police district in Phase 1. This is yet an other important milestone in Nødnett project.

The new network is simply a necessity in today's society, says local project manager and superintendent Arne Ingar Strøm from Gudbrandsdølen Dagningen. He points out that the introduction represents an important step on the road to coordinate community resources during crises and accidents.
 
Gudbrandsdal Police was the third and final police in the Hamar and Oppland counties, who took Nødnett in use.
