Sepura proud to be awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, International Trade
Sepura announces that it has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.
This award, universally recognised as the UK’s highest accolade for business success, celebrates Sepura’s consistent achievements and the growth of its international business over the last three years.
As highlighted by the award, Sepura’s overseas revenues grew impressively by 40% to €97.3m from April 2012 to March 2014, and there are now over 1.4 million Sepura radios in use in over 100 countries as customers benefit from Sepura’s robust, reliable and secure digital communications. Significant new markets included Canada, with a contract to supply a TETRA network for Toronto Transit Commission, the third largest metropolitan transport network in the North American continent; Greece, where Sepura is building a new public safety network; and Luxembourg, where Sepura is delivering a TETRA infrastructure network for CREOS, the country’s main utility organisation.

Approximately 160 Queen’s Awards have been announced this year for outstanding business achievement in the fields of International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development. Winners of The Queen’s Awards can expect an invitation to attend a special reception at Buckingham Palace. They can also use the Queen’s Award Emblem in advertising, marketing and on packaging for a period of five years as a symbol of their quality and success. The awards are made annually by HM The Queen, and are only given for the highest levels of excellence demonstrated in each category.
