BDBOS Welcomes Representatives of the German Fire Service Associations
On 12 May 2015 the Federal Agency for Digital Radio of Security Authorities and Organizations with Security Tasks (BDBOS) invited representatives of the fire service associations in Germany to exchange information in Berlin.
Besides representatives of the German Fire Service Association (DFV) and the Association of the head of the professional fire services of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bund AGBF) also representatives of the Civil and Disaster protection services from various counties were present.
Topics at the meeting were the current state for the BOS digital TETRA radio network and also in particular the situation on radio coverage and services. The nationwide introduction of six basic services end of 2014 was warmly welcomed by all those involved as well as the future development of other nationwide services. Furthermore, there was focus on emergency management.
Finally, different possibilities for cooperation between the parties were discussed to further promote their cooperation and continuous exhange of information. An important part of this is the annual exchange of information session that was carried out in 2014 for the first time.
