Source: MCCResources

Servicio di Telecomunicacion di Aruba (SETAR), the leading telecommunications service provider in Aruba, selected Rohill’s TetraNode solution to upgrade their current TetraNode network.

Rohill’s TetraNode network for SETAR was installed in 2005 and expanded several times in the last decade. The current system consists of a redundant TetraNode eXchange and nine Base Station Systems, as well as an integration to telephony, voice-data logging system, NodeView, Dispatching solution and an AVLS.

The renewal of the network includes a replacement of all nine Base Station Systems with the latest generation equipment. The current redundant TetraNode eXchange is capable of controlling the latest generation Base Station System. The upgrade of the equipment will increase the capacity of SETAR’s network and enable the SETAR system to run TetraNode’s newest functionalities, including LTE interconnection capabilities.
