Sharjah Intl. Airport partners with Nedaa in Move to Enhance and Improve its Wireless Comms. Infrastructure

Leading wireless communications firm to install base transmission station and supply airport with 400 TETRA-based wireless communication devices.

Professional Communication Corporation - Nedaa, a trusted and reliable choice in the field of wireless communication supply in Dubai and Northern Emirates, has recently signed a strategic new partnership agreement with Sharjah International Airport. Under the terms of the agreement, Nedaa will provide the airport with a key line of advanced digital wireless communications solutions, which have been specifically customized to support the airport’s internal operations and further allow it to provide world-class performance and deliver solutions that meet business requirements and enhance employees’ day-to-day operations. The implementation of the new partnership is also expected to strengthen the airport’s security levels—preserving the confidentiality of information and communications.

Industry analysts have hailed the agreement as both timely and very strategic as communications plays an essential role in ensuring the success of any airport’s day-to-day operations. Nedaa senior executives have shared that the company will supply, install, operate and guarantee a TETRA-based Airbus base transmission station. The company will also provide transmission network services and wireless communication devices, which also include 400 TETRA radios to be used by the airport’s essential communications personnel.
