PMRExpo dedicated to USB Standard: Imtradex shows Push-To- Talk products with USB port
As the newest member of the USB family, the company shows the Aurelis USB - handheld microphone. As an accessory, it has been specially developed for digital radio standards and is ideally suited as such for operation in the police and rescue services.
When the PMRExpo, the major industry event for professional mobile radio and control centers, opens its doors from 24th to the 26th of November at the Cologne Exhibition Centre, the German manufacturer of communications systems, Imtradex, is also attending with a stand in Hall 10.2, booth A05. Imtradex will show the entire range of headsets for police typical applications and communications accessories for safety-related applications.
In the focus of attention this year will be the hand, table microphones and headsets with USB- Standard. "As one of the few companies in our industry, we have from the beginning been developing our model series for dispatch places and control centers with USB interfaces. This means that our communications systems are compatible with the existing hardware of our customers, "says Ralf Kudernak, Managing Director of Imtradex

The 180g lightweight Aurelis USB hand-held microphone is fitted with a send button, a microphone and high quality speakers, and depending on the design with an emergency button, a three-level volume control and a two-colour LED. Moreover, it has a connection for external audio accessories and can be used with the headset or other device of choice.
With the TM2-LS and the TM3, Imtradex present two PTT table microphones that can be connected via its USB connection to the existing computer and systems in control centers. Both table microphones are suitable for all standard Voice Communication Systems (VCS). Thus they have a perfect voice quality and also a high level of practicality.
"While the TM2-LS is available with a USB port as an option, the TM3 has been conceived as a pure USB Desktop Microphone. Both microphones are of course equipped with an integrated high- performance speakers and intercom button, "explains Kudernak. For maximum speech quality, the flexible gooseneck, with the respective microphone, can be positioned exactly in front of the mouth of the user. The TM2-LS which is made of anodized aluminium is equipped with a transmit button and is optionally (TM2-LS2) supplied with two speakers that allow the interception of two separate sources.
