Australasian TETRA forum changes logo and name
The Australasian TETRA forum announced this week that it has changed its name to the Australasian TETRA and Critical Communications forum.
The name change is completely in line with name change of the TETRA Association few years back and with the technological development within the world of critical communications, where we currently see increased development of non-TETRA (broadband) solutions and where TETRA, together with other technologies, such as P25, DMR Tier III and in due time Mission Critical and Public Safety LTE will become one of the multiple technologies that are available for Mission Critical (Voice) Communications.
The Australasian TETRA and Critical Communications forum promotes TETRA as an open multi-vendor digital trunking technology and viable mobile radio solution for Australasia.
