Sepura supported by Eastcom's new service centre in Hangzhou, China
Eastcom, Sepura’s collaborative partner, has announced the opening of a new service centre in Hangzhou, China.
Eastcom is one of China's leading enterprises in the design, development and manufacture of TETRA systems and equipment. It has a long history in the country's mobile communication industry and is an influential player in wireless trunking, having developed eTRA, a digital communication system that supports both TETRA and the police digital hybrid network.
Sepura has worked with the company since 2012, when the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding, under which they agreed to share their respective skills, insights and market experience relating to the manufacture, distribution and service of TETRA radio products.
The Service Centre will predominantly offer local assistance to public safety customers, including users of Sepura products.
“To date, we have enjoyed a highly successful partnership with Eastcom,” said Terence Ledger, Sepura's Regional Sales Director for the APAC region.
“This new service centre will reduce the turnaround time for our customers’ repairs, along with costs of carriage, whilst providing technically competent repair and maintenance in accordance with Sepura's warranties and stringent quality standards.”
