Hytera and Sepura Operate as one Team During Confederations Cup
A visit to the Spartak Stadium in Moscow, one of the four stadiums of Confederation Cup, reveals that the local organizer has done serious planning for its event communications systems.
The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup is being held in Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, and Sochi, Russia, from 17 June to 2 July 2017. This quadrennial international men's football tournament is a prelude to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
From the perspective of running mega events, Confederation Cup gives the hosting country Russia a perfect opportunity to make sure every aspect of the operation meeting the expectation for 2018 World Cup.
A visit to the Spartak Stadium in Moscow, one of the four stadiums of Confederations Cup, reveals that the local organizer has done serious planning for its event communications systems. At the Stadium, a Hytera TETRA system was installed to offer two-way radio signal coverage for the stadium and surrounding areas and in addition, personnel of different working groups are equipped with Sepura portable radios. The onsite system is running smoothly through several matches.

Earlier this year, Hytera was awarded a TETRA infrastructure project by Russian local authority. The complete TETRA system will cover all the 2018 World Cup stadiums, training grounds, team bases, transportation hubs, etc.
With Sepura acquisition by Hytera completed at the end of May, the joint PMR forces now become one team to support the one of the world’s most popular event.
