Coverage prediction

The coverage prediction for a transmitter is determined by calculating where reception quality fulfils the appropriate criteria for the service. Any propagation model can be utilised and the received levels are calculated accounting for transmitter power, antenna gains and patterns, cable losses and receiver selectivity where applicable. The Coverage tool includes a number of different calculations supporting propagation limited, interference limited and geometrical calculations. Calculations can be performed for single or multiple transmitters.
