To keep its leading position, MegaFon has planned to sell MCPTT services to their B2B customers originating from many different industries, such as; public safety, mining, oil & gas, utilities, etc.
Hytera announced that MegaFon, one of TOP-3 mobile operators in Russia, adopted Hytera HyTalk MC Solution in Russia. MegaFon announced a federal tender back in 2019 for a MCPTT (Mission Critical Push to Talk) solution, inviting Hytera to provide a customized service to MegaFon and its subsidiary companies.
Historically, MegaFon was known as one of the most innovative MNO in Russia, who was the first operator to test and deploy 3G network, as well as the first to test 5G among the “Big 3”. Today MegaFon's 4G mobile data network is declared as the fastest one in Russia, supplying stable network.
To keep its leading position, the company has planned to sell it's MCPTT services to B2B customers originating from many different industries, such as; public safety, mining, oil & gas, utilities, etc.
During the tender, facing the challenges of other competitors, Hytera focused on offering reliable products, a customized service and offered a lower quotation.
The Hytera HyTalk MC solution was perfectly positioned within the tender as, according to Hytera, the solution dramatically enlarges the quantity of users in a group from 400 up to 3000 which perfectly suited the need of MegaFon.
Despite the Covid-19 situation, Hytera is still doing its best to finish all its promises to the customers and that of MegaFon, with strong engagement from the RND team.
Hytera said: "We believe that after the post-tender tests, together with MegaFon, we can provide the best MC-PTT service to the customers from different professional sectors, and realize a win-win situation in Russia."
