Three months before the start of the trade fair, more than 75% of the exhibition area is already occupied and the diverse conference program is also online.

The three-day PMRExpo will live up to its name again this year. In 2021, this international trade fair will again cover all areas of Professional Mobile Radio (PMR). Presentations, specialist forums and the well-known exhibition in Hall 10.2 covering all aspects of communications technology will characterize Europe's leading trade fair for secure communications from November 23 to 25, 2021. Three months before the start of the trade fair, more than 75% of the exhibition area is already occupied and the diverse conference program is also online.

For the professional users of radio communications from industry and business, as well as the emergency forces of authorities and organizations with security tasks (BOS), reliable voice communication and data transmission as well as secure alerting are essential factors. That is why PMRExpo offers a comprehensive range of information for diverse visitor groups. At the trade exhibition, national and international exhibitors will showcase their products, solutions and innovations from the fields of secure communications and professional mobile radio. This year, a total exhibition area of almost 10,000 square meters is available. Already three months before the start of the exhibition, more than 100 companies occupied more than 75% of the exhibition area. These include renowned companies such as Motorola Solutions, Hytera Mobilfunk and JVCKENWOOD, to name just a few. The exhibition stands will be complemented by a vehicle area of modern emergency vehicles.

Diverse congress program

Another pillar besides the exhibition is the congress area. The three days of the Summit are divided into following focus days: "Strategy & Innovation", "User's & Best Practice" and "Command & Control Centres".

The first day, with the focus on "Strategy & Innovation", will primarily deal with the future 5G network and its potentials as well as future application possibilities. The second day under the slogan "User's & Best Practice" deals with Tetra systems as well as narrowband and broadband networks from various aspects.

On the final day, the "Command & Control Centres" summit, moderated by Fire Chief Andreas Sirtl, will cover numerous topics for "blue light organizations". An expert from the BDBOS will also speak about the network renewal of the BOS digital radio and new functionalities.

Traditionally, North Rhine-Westphalia's Minister of the Interior Herbert Reul will open the PMRExpo. Looking back on the flood situation in his federal state, he will certainly report on the experiences with the mutual networking of the state's crisis units among each other with the VIDaL project (networking of information for the presentation of the state situation). The second day, which will be opened by Andreas Gegenfurtner, President of the Federal Agency for Public Safety Digital Radio (BDBOS), will be just as high-profile. He, too, will certainly address findings regarding secure communications in the event of a disaster - for example, with backup radio coverage.

In addition to the summit, the congress program also includes specialist forums and a Speakers' Corner. The symposium will be devoted specifically to the issues facing power utilities and network operators.
