Sepura launches new ‘state of the art’ customer training facility
a multi-purpose room designed for technical learning and development as well as workshops and conferences.
The new Sepura training facility at Radio House, Sepura’s head office in Cambridge, is a multi-purpose room designed for technical learning and development as well as workshops and conferences.
We have taken this initiative to meet the growing demand for training amongst partners and end-users alike. You, our customers, need to both ensure that you make the very best use of the investment that you have made in Sepura technology. Initial and refresher training are crucial means of achieving this. Our channel, applications and solutions partners need to constantly keep abreast of the latest developments from Sepura and we also use our new facility to help them to do so.
The 10 dedicated IT stations in the facility are all connected to a trainers’ central server, with full switching enabled between students and trainer's PCs. At any stage of the training session, any of the IT stations’ screens can be displayed on a large projector display screen. The use of a central conference table allows students to return to the workshop setting, between tasks, in order to progress with the course. All work stations have access to both the ‘training’ intranet and to the Internet, which enables attendees to deal with any urgent issues during training breaks. In addition, the ‘natural’ lighting setting of the facility has been specifically designed to help prevent tiredness.
The creation of this state of the art facility demonstrates Sepura’s continuing commitment in offering best-in-class technical training. It follows-on from the achievement of independent accreditation by all Sepura trainers in 2008 and is now backed up by our ongoing investment in E-Learning.
