Portalify Ltd announces that the Qatar Ministry of Interior (MoI) has successfully deployed advanced data solutions over multiple networks in Qatar, commencing with the previously installed TETRA system and commercial mobile networks. Portalify Ltd was chosen to provide the MoI with innovative mobile data platform technology that would also offer the potential for overlaying of TETRA with LTE.
The Portalify Data Management Server (DMS) product enables field worker and control room staff to perform mission critical data operations. The Qatar MoI is committed to unified service delivery through the leveraging of underlying bearer networks, including its TETRA and recently installed LTE systems, with intelligent seamless multiple bearer platform solutions, as being investigated with Portalify DMS.
The Qatar MoI provides mission critical communications to a diverse range of end user groups, predominantly within public safety, security and military markets. As well as weaving TETRA and LTE into a single service offering, access to diverse information sources for multiple agency information sharing is essential.
