TCCA Board recommends Mladen Vratonjić as Chairman
The TETRA and Critical Communications Association announced to its members today that, during the AGM in Barcelona, the board will recommend Mladen Vratonjić to become the new Association Chairman.
Vratonjic brings thirty three years of experience in telecommunications including: Responsibility for all telecommunication systems of Serbian police and fire brigades including the emergency call centers and large scale project management (including “Public Safety TETRA Network” and “112” in Serbia).
Previously Mladen Vratonjic was the Vice-chair of Operations Committee and Vice-chair of the Advisory Board at EENA (European Emergency Number Association). He regularly was chairing the sessions at EENA annual conferences. Furthermore he participated with several papers and articles in national and international telecommunications and public safety related conferences and was two times panellist at TETRA World Congress and two times speaker at Control Room Communications. Today, Vratonjic is Public Safety Specialist at Motorola Solutions
As the Critical Communications Industry is evolving, one of the main tasks for Vratonjic is to further guide the transition of the TCCA towards an organization that advices on multiple communications technologies that support critical communications for emergency services such as Police, Ambulance, Fire, Defence organizations, etc.
It is expected that, at the Annual General Meeting of the TCCA at the Critical communications World event in Barcelona, Mladen Vratonjić will be installed as Chairman of the TCCA. Vratonjić will then replace Phil Godfrey, who after many years of professional leadership, will be standing down.
