More Type Approvals for Nødnett TETRA Terminals
DNK announced recently that they would like see a wide variety of TETRA terminals and services used on the Nødnett network, so that all users can find the right product that matches their specific needs.
Currently, all Nødnett radio terminals and related software versions must first be approved before they can be used in the network. This is important to ensure that the terminal meets the technical requirements, have the correct base functionality and that the subscriber works well within the network. In this way, the type approval reduces risk for the radio users.
DNK controls which radio terminals and software versions are permitted to be used on Nødnett.
