Hytera Mobilfunk Delivers TETRA to Cajamarca City
Minera Yanacocha S.R.L. has chosen Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH Sucursal del Perú to supply and install a new, highly modern TETRA system and an emergency command & control center for Cajamarca City.
In line with its principles of social responsibility, Minera Yanacocha S.R.L. is procuring the TETRA communication system to donate it to the Peruvian national police force.
Along with the police, it will be used by other public safety organizations in the city of Cajamarca. The outdated emergency call center (105) will also be modernized and replaced with a highly modern emergency call and control center to provide the people of the historic city of Cajamarca and its visitors with a faster, more reliable emergency service at any time of the day or night.

Along with these measures, the city will also be equipped with a web- based AVL system for vehicle location and monitoring. The proven TETRA radios from Hytera will also be used in the city. Along with 100 PT580H handheld radios, 21 MT680 Plus mobile radios form part of the modernization program.
