ETHERSTACK, a company based in Redfern, NSW, will see its wireless technology incorporated into a range of electronics products from JVCKENWOOD.
The company announced a “substantial technology licensing contract” with the Japanese professional and consumer electronics company.
The company, which was founded 12 years ago, specialises in Software Defined Radio (SDR) waveform development and Land Mobile Radio (LMR) system software, including protocol stacks and IP core networks.
Its engineers have expertise in embedded software design, IP soft-switching and a detailed knowledge of communications standards such as APCO P25, TETRA, DMR/dPMR, WiMAX, CDMA, UMTS, LTE and military wireless specifications.
JVCKENWOOD (previously JVC KENWOOD, an amalgamation of Victor Company of Japan and Kenwood Corporation) manufactures radio products and transceivers.
