Simoco to demonstrate professional mobile radio at Critical Communications Middle East
Simoco’s attendance at the annual event marks an exciting time as the company invests in raising its profile across EMEA. The Middle East is one of Simoco’s most profitable areas
Simoco Group will be demonstrating its radio communications technologies at Critical Communications Middle East at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai on 14-16 September 2014. The global mobile radio specialist will be showing the benefits of its Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) and P25 products to over 750 critical communications professionals across the government, public safety, transportation and utility sectors in the Middle East.
Simoco’s attendance at the annual event marks an exciting time as the company invests in raising its profile across EMEA. The Middle East is one of Simoco’s most profitable areas; Dubai is home to its key partners UCA (ICATS) and Modern Media and, most recently, Simoco was awarded a five-year contract by UCA to deliver an advanced Digital Mobile Radio (DMR) solution to Bahrain Airport.
The recent successes and lucrative partnerships in the Middle East have led to Simoco opening a permanent office in Dubai, headed up by Ghassan El-Housseini as Business Development Director for Simoco Middle East, to support the UAE region and its clients.
“Critical Communications Middle East brings together the most influential critical communications professionals in the region,” said Ian Carr, CEO at Simoco Group. “The event is the ideal platform for us to reach this valuable community in a market where we see Simoco will experience major growth. We strive on positioning DMR and P25 at the forefront of wireless communications and will be using the show to demonstrate the benefits of our solutions to buyers and partners alike.”
Visitors to the Simoco booth (#B10) will see how the company’s DMR system, Simoco Xd, is a cost-effective solution in mission critical professional radio environments. With both DMR Tier II (conventional) and Tier III (trunking) modes of operation, the system offers scalability, resilience and simplicity through a switchless IP distributed architecture, removing the need for costly core network equipment. Simoco’s P25 range offers reliable and secure communications in conventional, simulcast and trunked architectures, which is particularly suited to public safety organisations. Simoco’s multi-mode mobiles and portables offer operation in P25 conventional and trunked modes as well as legacy analogue conventional and trunked operation.
During the show, Andy Grimmett, Simoco’s Head of Product Strategy and Chair of the DMRA, will be presenting on Distributed Architecture at the Critical Communications Speaker Sessions.
Organised by IIR Telecoms, Critical Communications Middle East brings together innovators, suppliers and partners to discover how to ensure effective critical communications now and in the future. The conference will highlight developments, present innovations and continue discussions to guarantee a complete learning opportunity for delegates.
