Orion Labs names Michael Schwartz Chief Marketing Officer
Orion Labs, Inc., today announced Michael Schwartz has joined its executive team as Chief Marketing Officer to build a world-class marketing program and guide the brand’s marketing strategy as it scales to serve the extensive addressable market for its category-defining intelligent collaboration platform.
Schwartz brings 20 years of CMO experience to Orion Labs. He previously served as CMO at six B2B enterprise software companies, including ION Commodities, Allegro Development, Eka Software Solutions, Triple Point Technology, and Information Builders. His experience spans a broad range of companies from early-stage startups to billion-dollar companies, with expertise in building B2B marketing programs from the ground up.
As enterprises and organizations invest in digital transformation, they often neglect to invest in new technology for their deskless workers. Orion has developed the voice-first, intelligent multimodal collaboration platform that empowers deskless workers and improves productivity, safety and compliance, and customer engagement.
“Orion is seeing substantial growth as the market realizes outdated radios and limited PTT apps cannot compete with the modern, intelligent technology of Orion’s platform,” said Michael Schwartz, Chief Marketing Officer of Orion. “I have been following Orion for a while, and the market opportunity to create a new voice-first collaboration category is abundantly clear. I’m excited to join the Orion team and help the company to achieve its growth goals.”
“2020 has been a year of strong growth for Orion as the market increasingly recognizes our unique position to support digital transformation initiatives that ensure deskless workers become connected workers,” said Greg Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of Orion. “I’m preparing to scale our company at a rapid pace to meet this incredible market demand. I’m pleased to say Orion now has the team in place to do that with the addition of Michael in Marketing and Daniel de Mos as Vice President of Finance earlier this year.”
