Crosscall Collaborates with Telefónica to Migrate SIRDEE Critical Communications Network to Broadband

CROSSCALL announced that the company is partnering with the Spanish Ministry of the Interior (Ministerio del Interior) and Telefónica to migrate the SIRDEE emergency network to broadband.

This transition marks a significant improvement over the current narrowband system based on TETRAPOL, enabling advanced communication capabilities such as real-time group communication with image and video transmission for the National Police and the Civil Guard (Guardia Civil).

During the initial pilot phase, selected users from the state's security forces (FCSE) are using ultra-rugged Crosscall CORE-X5 smartphones, designed to ensure smooth communication even in the toughest conditions. This collaboration reflects Crosscall's commitment to enhancing mission critical communications and keeping teams connected when it matters most.
