Appointment of New Australasian Critical Communications Forum (ACCF) Director
Following the resignation of Steve Hwang from Nokia as ACCF Board director due to a shift in his Nokia’ regional responsibilities, the ACCF announced the appointment of Jonathan Brine from Nokia (Oceania) as its new Board director.
Steve Hwang based in Seoul was also involved in the South Korea’s Safe Net Forum and the implementation and roll-out of the country’s nationwide mission critical Broadband network. The ACCF Board thanks him for his support and contributions to the Forum and wishes Steve well in his new regional endeavours for Nokia.
Jonathan Brine is a 30 year veteran of the Australian Telecommunications Industry based in Sydney , and has worked across all disciplines in the industry from designing , building and operating all technologies across his career. This has included in the carrier world, commercial infrastructure organisations , consulting and also working for NSW Government. He currently is responsible for Government & Cities Business Development segment in Nokia for Oceania and is also the lead executive for Public Safety Mobile Broadband initiative for Nokia in Australia.
