TCCA Requests Support in Mission Critical Broadband Applications Survey
A special task force within TCCA has been created to better understand the requirements for mission critical broadband applications
Many organisations are currently planning to deploy broadband technologies (4G and 5G) to deliver mission critical communications that will greatly enhance the safety and operational efficiency of their mobile workers and, ultimately, to create safer communities and more effective and efficient organisations.
In order to enhance the safety and operational efficiency of first responders and Mobile Workers TCCA has established a task force, led by TCCA Board member Tim Clark, to focus on mission critical broadband applications – these are defined as robust, high-quality applications that are fully trusted by professional end-users to be continually available, everywhere they operate.
Mission critical broadband applications deployed on mobile handheld devices will deliver new benefits to public safety first responders and mobile workers in critical segments including utilities, transport, energy and natural resources.
The task force has created this survey to better understand the requirements for mission critical broadband applications - the results will be used to provide:
- advice to users and administrators on successful deployment, use and management of mission critical broadband applications.
- guidance to developers and suppliers to help create a rich ecosystem of high-quality mission critical applications.
Taking part in the survey only takes ten minutes of your time and would be hugely appreciated - you can access the survey here: https://lnkd.in/eNuyTDGC
