Hytera Reaches Milestone in Peru: 10,000 TETRA Terminals Delivered
Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH reached a milestone of 10,000 TETRA terminals shipped in Peru. This demonstrates the trust that Peruvian public and private users put in Hytera to deliver mission critical communication services in order to satisfy its needs.
The 10,000 TETRA terminal target has been reached with three new orders just in November: 275 x TETRA terminals (portable PT580H Plus) to a mission critical operator, 72 x TETRA terminals (portable PT580H Plus) to the National Defense Division of the Ministry of Health and 50 x TETRA terminals (mobile MT680 Plus and portable PT580H Plus) to equip the city guards of a municipality.
“We have established ourselves as a trustful and long-standing partner in Peru. Especially in the highly sensitive sector of mission critical communications, we are the first choice for Peruvian government agencies”, said Frank Pauer, Deputy CSO of Hytera Mobilfunk GmbH.
Public mission critical organizations like the National Police, the Ministries of Interior, of Transport and Communication and of Foreign Affairs, the National Bank Agency, the National Civil Defence Institute and several municipalities and regional governments spread along the country are already equipped with Hytera TETRA products.
Private users like Metro de Lima and Cerro Verde Mine Subcontractors are satisfied customers as well. “This important milestone confirms the leadership position of Hytera Mission Critical Communication Solutions in Peru and the Region”, said Luis Perez, Head of Hytera Peru
