Celebrating its 20th anniversary year, CCW will play host to 175 expert speakers, 133 exhibitors and an entirely new suite of demonstration areas. As part of its revamped offering, this year CCW has ensured that the Messe Berlin ExpoCenter-based show will be replete with a brand-new Control Room Arena, Drone Zone and Connected Vehicle Zone all facilitating demonstrations of the latest advancements in critical communications technology.
The first day of the event is packed with Masterclasses led by some of the industry’s leading experts in mission critical communications, including Dr Barbara Held, German Federal Agency for Public Safety Digital Radio (BDBOS), Robin Davis from Actica, Nick Smye, Mason Advisory, Philippe Agard, Nokia, Malcolm Quelch, Sepura and Francesco Pasquali, Leonardo. Days two and three will feature presentations, panels and Q&As on the opportunities and challenges facing the critical communications industry, with speakers including Adrian Scrase, CTO, ETSI, Thomas Scholle, Technology Director, BDBOS, and Paul Steinberg, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Motorola Solutions.
Mladen Vratonjić, TCCA Chairman, said: “Today marks 20 years of CCW and we extend a very warm welcome to everyone who is joining us in Berlin. The unprecedented interest this year demonstrates the critical importance of communications for safety and security to organisations across the globe. We are extremely grateful to our speakers for sharing their expertise, and to our exhibitors and sponsors for their invaluable support. In particular we wish to state our appreciation to the team at BDBOS for the huge amount of work they have put in as host operator to make CCW2018 the best ever.”
Hosted at the Messe Berlin ExpoCenter from 15th-17th May 2018, CCW is produced by TCCA alongside newly installed organisers, MA Exhibitions, with sponsorship from Motorola Solutions, Leonardo, Airbus and Frequentis.
