TETRA Network Operator Entropia Digital Triples Geographical Redundancy with Hytera in Belgium.

At this moment, 30 new base stations and two additional redundant IP TETRA switches will be shipped in May 2015 to Entropia Digital in Belgium.

Back in 2012, Entropia Digital and Hytera signed a long term contract to build a Flanders/Brussels IP TETRA network. In the meantime, Hytera updates software release to PV9 and offers a tripled Geographical IP TETRA redundancy in Flanders and Brussels with 70 sites. The Entropia network in Belgium had a strong reputation in Mission Critical IP TETRA wide area PMR services. At present, there are 3 double geographically redundant switches installed in Brussels with back-up in Bruges, Leuven and Antwerp.

At this moment, 30 new base stations and two additional redundant IP TETRA switches will be shipped in May 2015 to Entropia Digital in Belgium. These base stations will add extra coverage in Flanders & Brussels region and will offer Encryption TEA1, authentication, Voice recording of mission critical coms and adds extra redundancy with two new PV9 IP TETRA switches.
