Hytera Mobilfunk Sucursal del Peru has been awarded with the maintenance contract of the National Peruvian Police TETRA Network. The frame contract has a duration of 27 months and includes the service, maintenance and upgrade of the existing TETRA network in the cities of Lima, Callao and Trujillo.
In addition, HMF Sucursal del Peru has been selected by the National Peruvian Police to expand the current Public Safety Network. Five additional sites shall increase the coverage in new areas of the Lima region. With this two major contracts Hytera strengthens its leading position as a provider of integrated communication solutions for public safety and disaster management in Peru and the Andean region.

Various projects and further demands within the Latin American market showed the need for further specialized support in that area. Following this demand Hytera Mobilfunk opened a permanent office and center of competence in Lima, Peru in September 2014.
